My Rainbow, April 9, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Rainbow Hardwood Floor Canister Bagless SE Vacuum Cleaner The product wasn't exactly as I hoped. I've owned a Rainbow for over twenty years... but instead of replacing worn part, I considered buying a refurbished one on line. I didn't realize it was only to be used on hardwood floors! Who buys a vacum if you don't have carpet? So I was disappointed to find it was only for hardwood floors as my home is entirely carpeted. It also has a srange sound when turned off. I love a Rainbow not only because of it's supreme cleaning power (alot of vacums do this) but none leave the home smelling so fresh. It truly cleans and sanitizes the air as well..... the main reason i love the Rainbow. It also came with a tiny bowl.... my previous Rainbow had a much larger bowl. So for a few reasons I'm not entirely happy with my purchase. I would like to know if the seller would make a motorized foot for carpet available at a reasonable price.

I paid for a new unit and the unit I got looked like it has been used. It was a bit banged up and no manual or instruction came with it. I have left 2 messages with Great Vacs with a couple of questions, but no responds. Poor customer service & not a new unit. Consider your order with Great Vacs carefully.
